There may be a question - what things should I take for my boat trip. We are here to help you.

Our recommended list:

1. Water – you definitely may get thirsty during your boat ride. There is no water to drink at the sea, so be aware to take enough water for you and all your crew. To keep water cool on the boat we are providing a cool-box with an ice.

2. Towel – towel will be needed not just to dry yourself after having a bath at the sea, but it is very useful to put and on the boat's seat too (personally – we like to have one towel to sit on, and one for swimming). We are cleaning our boats before each reservation, but it is much more pleasant to put your own towel to sit on it. Not just for hygiene reasons but, keep in mind, that even though that all our boats have a Bimini top, pillows may be exposed at the sun and can get really hot. So we always suggest to put your own towel before you sit down.

3. Sunscreen – it is easy to get sunburn while you are spending time by the sea. Be aware – sun of Crete is extremely intense, especially when you are on the boat. Do not forget to put a sunscreen, preferable with high protection, before your boarding. For risk to slip we suggest to use one that is not oil-based.

4. Sunglasses, hat and swimming suit/swimming pants - probably there is no need to mention this "triad" that is inseparable from time at the beach. Same three things are definitely needed during your boat trip. Just be careful to not lose your hat or glasses at the sea.

5. Mask for snorkeling – The Mediterranean Sea fascinates with its clean water and the beauty of the underwater world. If you can't wait to see all this up close, be sure to take a diving mask with you. In case you do not have your own mask, but still would like to explore underwater world - with an extra cost we are providing masks with snorkels and fins, but only if you book a boat trip with the Skipper. (Mask with snorkel - 10 EUR per set, fins - 10 EUR per pair.)

6. Water shoes - some of the places we recommend to visit have a rocky bottom, so that swimming in the sea would be even more pleasant and with a lot of adventure - water shoes can really come in handy. Just keep in mind, that we kindly ask you not to wear any footwear on board.

7. Waterproof phone case/camera - we say from experience that a trip by boat is inseparable without beautiful photos. We also agree that the most beautiful memories remain in the memory, but one photo can really turn into a very good souvenir for yourself or your loved ones. If you rent the boat with a captain - for a nominal fee we will be happy to send you photos/videos from your trip. (Photos/video from boat trip - 20 EUR, underwater photos - +10 EUR.)

8. Windproof jacket - better safe than sorry. It is always a good idea to have a light outer garment with you on board. Preferably windproof. If it's a cooler day, or you're renting a boat to enjoy the sunsets, or even if it's a sunny day, but you've just taken a dip in the sea, a light breeze on a boat may not always be so pleasant.

9. Snacks - it's really easy to get hungry when you're out in nature. Especially when you also do some active activities, e.g. swimming in the sea. If you are planning a longer trip by boat (4 hours or more), we really recommend taking light snacks with you - fruit, sandwiches, bread sticks. If it's relevant - when you return, we'll be happy to share our favorite places for lunch or dinner.

10. The most important thing to take - it's a GOOD MOOD. As they say - there is no situation without a way out. If, while boarding the boat, you realize that you have left some of the above-mentioned items at home, a good mood will definitely improve the situation.

Enjoy the freedom of boating! We can't wait to see you aboard.
